Jane Condon
Comedian and mom Jane Condon lives in Greenwich, Connecticut, but she’s still a nice person. She has two boys. Otherwise everything’s fine. The Associated Press has dubbed her “an uppercrust Roseanne” and The New York Times says, “Condon had the audience cackling, guffawing and in hysterics as she sliced through marriage, husband, kids, politics and other topics.” She loves to tell stories about her adventures (mostly survival tales) with her husband and kids.
Condon was named one of 10 Comedy Best Bets in Back Stage’s annual comedy issue. She has appeared on ABC-TV’s “The View” and Lifetime TV’s “Girls’ Night Out,” FOX-TV’s series finale of “24,” Nickelodeon’s “Nick Mom Night Out,” as well as NBC’s “Last Comic Standing.”
She is the grand prize winner of the Ladies of Laughter Contest. She won “Audience Favorite- NY” on NBC’s Last Comic Standing. And she gave the commencement speech at Wellesley College (her alma mater). She recently appeared on NBC’s Today Show.

Kerri Louise
Comic Kerri Louise’s Showtime Comedy Special “Funny Women of a Certain Age” is streaming now along with her Dry Bar Special “Street Smart”. She’s been on Oprah, Dr. Oz, and The Howard Stern Show. Kerri Louise was a finalist on NBC’s Last Comic Standing and starred in her own reality TV show called “Two Funny”, on The WE Network. Kerri has been featured on Comedy Central, VH1 and TrueTV countless times. She’s been on numerous TV talk shows, podcasts, and three of her albums “Yummy Mommy”, “Funny Mommy”, and “Menopause Mommy” can all be heard on SiriusXM Radio. You’ve seen her high heels on stages like The Apprentice, America’s Got Talent, Comics Unleashed, Gotham Live, and across the country performing for the Troops. Her very first warm-up TV show was “The Sally Jessy Raphael Show” and then later the warm-up for “The View”. Kerri Louise can be seen at the top comedy clubs and festivals nationwide. Moody McCarthy
After appearances on Letterman, Last Comic Standing and Jimmy Kimmel Live, Moody McCarthy is no longer a well-kept secret. (After an appearance on the re-vamped Star Search, he still was.) Our shower is a Sunday afternoon luncheon. Does comedy work in the daytime?

Comedy works just fine in the afternoon. We’ve done breakfast shows but we don’t recommend them. We don’t know why, but people laugh more as the day goes on, as I can attest as the guy cracking jokes all through grad school. It’s harder to make people laugh at 8 AM (and that’s when we really needed it, because for some reason that’s when they scheduled our statistics class).
When should the comedian perform: before or after the gifts?

That’s up to you, but if the gifts are going to be a distraction then have the comedy before the gifts. Most showers go meal, then entertainment, then gifts, and that order works well for comedy too.

Some of us have our own, so let's discuss this before booking. A sound system costs a couple of hundred dollars to buy, a musician friend may have one you can borrow, and we can also give you guidance on buying or renting one.

Is there a deposit, and what is your policy on cancellation or rescheduling a baby or bridal shower?

Yes, as is the industry standard, The Ivy League of Comedy asks for a 50% deposit. We accept credit cards (with a small additional fee to cover our costs for that). In the case of a cancellation we may keep the deposit, or if it's close to the show date, more than that (but if we've built in transportation costs that we can recoup, that'd go back to you). Weather-related rescheduling is no fun for anybody but we understand. We hope you understand that if a show gets rescheduled, the comedian has lost a booking. That said, some of us, if we didn't have to decline any other work for that night, and nothing else for the reschedule date either, are pretty easy-going about it.
